Oh, did I remember to tell you I Love Books?
As a young girl I used to read to my grandfather who was blind. From there I developed a love for books. I was an only child living in the country and I would travel and have all sorts of experiences through books.
I grew up, became an adult with a family. We couldn't afford vacations so often I'd close myself in the bathroom with a book. Sometimes I was the Italian mafia wife married to the Italian mafia Don leading a rich, dangerous, exciting life. Other times I was queen of the manor with many servants to do my bidding. Sometimes I was a world traveler, and the imagination went on and on.
I have books I have read, books I want to read, and books I'll never read; thereby Shanton's Books is born. I'm excited about this new venture and am looking forward to sharing with you.
